Blackout by Marc Elsberg
A tech thriller about terrorist hackers taking out the electrical | nuclear power grid in Europe, and the U.S. A million plus best seller world-wide.

The Chalk Artist by Allegra Goodman
If you’re into virtual reality you’ll enjoy this intelligently written book about love, involving an obsessed gamer, teacher, and artist.

The Sixth Idea by P.J. Tracy
Part of a series, this book revolves around a group of genius computer hackers and the police trying to solve the murders of the descendants of the team responsible for the H-bomb. 

Constant Fear by Daniel Palmer
An action packed thriller about a doomsday prepper and his hacker son who become involved in a modern-day Robin Hood tale. Add 2 million in bitcoin, a drug cartel, and you have roller coaster ride of a plot.

A Robot in the Garden by Deborah Install
Ben (who doesn’t do much of anything) and his wife Amy (a barrister) are experiencing a rough patch in their marriage. Along comes Tang, a robot in need of repair, who teaches Ben about love, and friendship. A feel-good read that will make you laugh out loud!

Set in New York City, this book explores how mankind survives a full-on computer cyber-attack. This might be the read for you if you enjoy a doomsday storyline.
